
The Kolovrat – symbolizes the circle or cycle of life. Also, the eternal conflict between good and evil.
The Slavic countries are in Eastern Europe and Western Asia. The Slavs are divided into 3 subgroups; East Slavs (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia); West Slavs (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia); and South Slavs (Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia)
The curious thing is whether or not Slavic people will have a month to celebrate in the U.S. as some ethnic groups have been given?
Slavic people migrated to the U.S. at the end of the 19th century.
They settled into all states of the union, the ones that I descended from decided to settle in north eastern Pennsylvania. They worked in the coal mines and made a future for themselves and their families. They had their struggles with the owners of the coal mine that owned the town and everything connected with it.
