Exploring the waterfall section of Beltzville State Park

On 21 April 2024; decided to hike the waterfall section of Beltzville State Park. It was an overcast Sunday but at least it wasn’t raining out. It was a small window of opportunity since most weekends for the past 6 months had bad weather. Made the trip to Beltzville to do a little exploring of the waterfall section.

It has been over 40 years (maybe longer) the last time I visited this part of the park. The area use to be farmland but was purchased by the common wealth due to unique terrain features along the area of the lake.

This was indeed a good return visit and hike of the waterfall section, I truly enjoyed being back out here. I need to plan other hikes of the park in the near future. There are boat ramps, picnic areas, swimming area, and hiking trails for people to enjoy!
